global associates is celebrating once again after adding another two trophies to its ever-growing collection of industry accolades.
Picking up both Building Controls and BEMS Installer of the Year and the Energy Management Award at this year’s BCIA Awards, global has now be awarded six BCIA Awards titles over the last six years.
The Building Controls and BEMS Installer of the Year title is awarded in recognition of the installer which demonstrates the greatest levels of professionalism, commitment and understanding of the needs of clients. This is the third time global has triumphed in the category and clearly demonstrates the building controls company’s commitment to understanding the client’s requirements and delivering solutions that surpass customer expectations.
The Energy Management Award is awarded in recognition of the project which best demonstrates how building controls and/or BEMS have been applied to increase energy efficiency in a building or building complex. global impressed the judges and came away with the title thanks to its work on a major energy reduction project with furniture retailer DFS, during which it achieved an average energy reduction of 31% and delivered annual energy bill savings of £800,000.

This years’ celebrations were held on Thursday 5th May at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole and featured a three-course dinner, an awards ceremony and post show entertainment.
