We’re hiring: BMS Sales Estimator

Global Associates is looking for an experienced BMS Sales Estimator to join our team and play an important role in the continued growth of the business.

You will work closely with our sales, technical and operational teams, supporting opportunities from the moment an enquiry is received through to tender submission and client engagement.

The role will include:

  • Reviewing BMS tender enquiries, specifications, drawings and supporting documentation
  • Understanding the client’s requirements, timescales and key drivers
  • Developing technically appropriate and commercially competitive proposals
  • Obtaining and evaluating costs from panel manufacturers, installation subcontractors and suppliers
  • Liaising with clients, consultants and the wider project team to clarify requirements
  • Attending site surveys and client meetings when required
  • Identifying risks, exclusions, qualifications and opportunities within each tender
  • Supporting the wider bid and sales process
  • Maintaining accurate opportunity information and meeting tender deadlines
  • Helping ensure that every proposal is both commercially sound and operationally deliverable

We are particularly interested in speaking with people who:

  • Understand HVAC and BMS systems
  • Are familiar with BMS terminology and multi-manufacturer solutions
  • Have experience with platforms such as Trend, Tridium or similar
  • Can interpret technical specifications, drawings and tender information
  • Have excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Communicate confidently with customers, consultants, suppliers and internal teams
  • Take ownership of their work and remain calm when managing multiple deadlines
  • Care about the quality of the proposal, not simply getting a price out of the door

This is not purely a desk-based pricing role. You will be involved in shaping solutions, supporting client discussions and helping Global Associates convert the right opportunities into successful projects.
