Global Associates would like to speak with an exceptional business development professional from the BMS, BEMS, smart buildings or building controls industry. 

The successful person will have the opportunity to:

  • Develop strategic relationships across the BMS market
  • Open new doors and create meaningful opportunities
  • Grow existing and underdeveloped client accounts
  • Help determine the sectors, clients and routes to market we pursue
  • Take ownership of opportunities from initial discovery through proposal, negotiation, award and handover
  • Work directly with our leadership, technical, estimating, project and service teams
  • Influence the future shape of the business development function
  • Help build a predictable and sustainable long-term sales pipeline

The role will be supported by a structured six-month integration programme covering the business, its people, systems, clients, pipeline and market strategy, before progressing into complete ownership of the sales cycle.

We are looking for someone who understands the BMS industry, can build credibility at both technical and commercial levels and knows how to turn strong relationships into profitable, sustainable business.

This is a senior appointment and the role and wider proposition will be shaped around the experience, ambitions and potential contribution of the successful individual.
